چکیده

Abstract High total P content but insufficient available in soil is an obstacle that restricts the efficient utilization of saline-alkali regions. Although resistant P-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) solubilize insoluble P, few studies have focused on their application plant growth. We isolated a PSB strain, identified as Bacillus sp. DYS211, from bird droppings regions and determined its growth characteristics resistance to salt alkalis. To investigate effect germination seeds, we performed potting experiment using Suaeda salsa with added. The strain grew rapidly first 12 h, solubilized reached maximum 258.22 mg L -1 at 48 h. Saline-alkali tolerance ability tests showed DYS211 preferred dissolve inorganic was halophilic, had good 1%‒8% salinity (available >150 -1). It exhibited solubilization abilities when glucose sucrose were used C sources or ammonium sulfate, nitrate, yeast extract powder N sources. In promotion test, increased seed germination, particularly under high stress, growth-promotion 8.33%. also improved S. salsa, including height biomass (up three times) both saline alkaline conditions, stem diameter stress. This demonstrates potential for vegetation restoration

Plant growth promotion induced by phosphate solubilizing endophytic Pseudomonas isolates

The use of plant growth promoting bacterial inoculants as live microbial biofertilizers provides a promising alternative to chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Inorganic phosphate solubilization is one of the major mechanisms of plant growth promotion by plant associated bacteria. This involves bacteria releasing organic acids into the soil which solubilize the phosphate complexes converting t...

Gordonia sp.: a salt tolerant bacterial inoculant for growth promotion of pearl millet under saline soil conditions

In the resent study, a diazotrophic bacterial isolate JPA2 having the ability to tolerate salinity (6 % NaCl) and plant growth-promoting features was isolated from rhizospheric soil of weed Chenopodium murale growing in saline soil of Pindara (EC 11.47 dS m-1), district Jind (Haryana). The nitrogen fixing ability of the isolate was confirmed by nifH gene amplification and acetylene reduction as...

Stimulatory Effects of Arsenic-Tolerant Soil Fungi on Plant Growth Promotion and Soil Properties

Fifteen fungi were obtained from arsenic-contaminated agricultural fields in West Bengal, India and examined for their arsenic tolerance and removal ability in our previous study. Of these, the four best arsenic-remediating isolates were tested for plant growth promotion effects on rice and pea in the present study. A greenhouse-based pot experiment was conducted using soil inocula of individua...
